There are many villages in the island, many of them make an excellent resort. Hermoupoli, a distinct town with very special character, is the capital of Syros Island and Ano Syros (sometimes also called Ano Hora) is next to Hermoupoli with a completely different style.

In all villages the "local colours", traditions and style can be enjoyned. The choice is yours.
